The skid plates are made out of 1/8″ thick ABS plastic pieces for a low-profile fit. Included in this kit you will receive the skid plates with double-sided tape applied, vehicle prep items, and instructions. The plates attach with 3M VHB acrylic foam tape, which bonds across the entire contact surface instead of at individual rivet points. The best thing is that they can be removed at a later date with no signs that they were ever there. Another feature about the tape is that it will add a layer of cushion between the bumper and the plates. The installation process will take less than an hour and the bumper remains on.
